Logging into a NKSD Chromebook

Student Log In

  • Username: [email protected]
  • Password: first initial + last initial + .nk + school year + 3 letter birth month
  • Birth month codes would be jan for January, feb for February, mar for March, etc.
  • Passwords for Elementary and Secondary use the SAME format as of school year 2022-2023

Example student login

Johnny Digital is in school year 2022 - 2023, his student ID # is 0912345 and his birth month is October. So his log in would be:

Susy Smith-Thompson is in school year 2022 - 2023, her student ID # is 0987654 and her birth month is May. So her log in would be:

Anne Marie Johnson is in school year 2022 - 2023, her student ID # is 0955446 and her birth month is December. So her log in would be:

Note: The initials are always the first letter of the position regardless of hypens or other inclusions. A first name of Anne Marie would just be a for first initial. A last name of smith-thompson would just be s for last initial.

WHEN SUBMITTING A TSR: If you are having trouble logging in with your account, PLEASE include whether the password is not working, the account is not found, you are being asked for an old password, or any other error message you may receive. The more information we have, the quicker the issue can be resolved.
